How I Conquered Career Frustration and Built a System to Help Busy Parents Thrive
I was always the quiet guy, the one who’d hide in the corner at parties and never stray far from home. The furthest I had lived from my birthplace was 10 miles. Comfort was my safe zone.
Then, in 2017, everything changed. My wife and I left Kent, England and moved to Indiana, USA a place I had never heard of 3 years prior. I was pumped for adventure, flying high literally on the thrill of the unknown.
Fast forward to February 2021. I was recovering from my third skin cancer surgery, my work was falling apart, and facing visa delays with the possibility of leaving America for 7 months. I found myself on the kitchen floor - head in my hands, tears in my eyes - wondering, “What the hell happened?”
Thankfully we were only gone for 1 month. But that month ended up being the reset I needed. For reasons I will never fully understand I had the 'message' I had been looking for, and in all places it was at the dining table in my wife's grandparents house whilst my 6 year old was doing school work and my 1 year old was taking a nap.
That moment hit hard. I realized I was letting myself down and, by extension, my family. I was paralyzed by fear: too anxious to step outside, too scared to speak up, too overwhelmed to truly be with my kids.
I had a choice: keep living in fear or change my story.
I chose change.
I dove into books, got serious with therapy, and spent countless hours in self-reflection.
Here’s the breakthrough: I learned that making decisions, real, value-driven decisions, was the key to taking back control. Once I started aligning my choices with who I wanted to be, everything shifted. I set genuine goals that mattered, and suddenly, decision-making became easier, and I felt powerful.
Then, a chance meeting at work introduced me to coaching. I jumped in! Over 100 hours of study, raw vulnerability, and relentless practice. Coaching wasn’t just another skill; it was the tool that transformed my anxiety into action. I became the coach I needed when I was lost.
Now, I help busy parents figure out what's really wrong at work, and to make their next move without blowing up their income, identity or family life. I know what it’s like to struggle.
I've spent years, thousands of dollars, and countless hours figuring out a better way. I turned my anxiety and frustration into action, and I want to show you how to do the same.
Let’s be real: Parenting is hard enough without the extra boredom, frustration and energy draining effect a job that doesn't suit you anymore gives you. You don't need another job board or personality test.
You need a real strategy that respects your reality as a working parent.
When your kids see you tired after work and hear you complaining about work at the dinner table. They start to see work as something awful that they won't want to do. But if they see you happy and full of energy and excited to talk about your day then they learn to do the same.
It’s time to stop drifting and start deciding. I’m here to help you turn your challenges into action and create a life you can be proud of.
