You know that restless, low-level frustration that creeps in when nothing’s technically wrong, but everything feels… stagnant?

That’s often a sign you’ve stopped growing.

You’re not learning.
You’re not stretching.
You’re not being challenged in a way that excites you.

And over time, that can lead to:

😐 Going through the motions
📱 Mindless scrolling at work
😩 Dreading Mondays, not because they’re busy, but because they’re boring

We’re wired to want progress, even small progress.
Without it, even a “good” job can start to feel like a cage.

I once worked in a role where I had a lot of influence. I was respected, paid well, and knew the job to a high level. I had been rated a top performer 2 years in a row.

But over time, I realized I wasn’t learning anything new.
I wasn’t growing, and that slowly turned into resentment, which turned into apathy.

You don’t need a promotion or a new job title to grow.
But you do need something that challenges you in a way that feels meaningful.

Here are two questions to sit with today:

When’s the last time you felt like you were learning at work?

If you could grow in one new direction this year, what would it be?
