Top 5 Regrets Of The Dying

Bit of a morbid edition this week. So let's start with a laugh

One of my favorite questions I ask a lot of my clients is to visualize their future and ask themselves what do they want to be known for / accomplished at the end of their life.

This exercise helps you really understand what is and is not important to you.

Then we work together to work backwards and start making actionable goals based off this.

I saw the below image and it is really insightful

What are your initial thoughts when you see this?

What resonates for you?

What really stood out for me was just how much control we actually have over these regrets, and how we can actually make a change now.

Life doesn't wait for you. It goes on day by day, week by week and before you know it that little baby you hold tight and rock to sleep is suddenly a 10 year old who would rather hang out with her friends than her parents.

We don't know how long we have.

My grandad saved a lot of money so that he could enjoy his retirement.

He died at 61.

My Uncle passed away last year at 50.

If you knew how long you had, what would you change?

Now start working towards that.

So that your story isn't one of regrets.

But one on your terms.

Cheering you on,

Dan

HEY, I’M DAN…

I know how exhausting and overwhelming it can be to work full time in a job that doesn't fulfill you. Then to arrive home sad and mentally exhausted.

Your kids really excited because daddy is home! and they want to tell you all about their day and play with you.

But you are so beaten down that you just can't give them the same excitement, or your full attention. Your mind is full of doubts and fears.

As hard as it may feel right now, there is a path from where you are today to becoming the dad who arrives home feeling fulfilled instead of frustrated.

I know because I have been where you are, and I can show you the way.

As a dad, husband, full time employee and a certified coach, I have helped dads just like you to identify careers that allow them to wake up excited to make a difference, to arrive home ready for toys and tantrums, and to go to your kids sports games fully present and enjoying it.
