Last Week Was Rough
My little guy slipped whilst chasing his friend and hit the side of his face on the edge of the wall.
We spent the entire evening in ER and he needed 7 stitches.
That dude is one tough guy, I don't think I could have dealt with it as well as he did!
He was so unlucky that of all places to slip and hit something, it just happened to be the sharpest part of a wall. But also very lucky because 2 inches to the right and it would have smacked his eye.
Seeing my son go through that reminded me how important resilience is. He is already back to playing lots of hot wheels and just having fun.
Bit of a hard transition to come from this to the next topic, so let's just carry on moving forward. Sometimes that's all we can do.

I was researching some more tips on different ways of setting goals (wow, I really just said that out loud and admitted that in writing... even the stereotypical nerds are pointing at me on this one) and I saw this visual which I thought could be helpful to you.

For me personally, I find procrastinating hard, but some of my best ideas have come from procrastinating. It uses a different part of your brain and gets you thinking in different ways.
There is some great advice in here, especially around time management, and feeling inspired by your goals, and not handcuffed by them.
